Brisbane Photographer | Fav Shots from May & June

I like to take shots around the house and also when I'm out location hunting for wedding and engagement shoots I often come by some cute scenes. At the beginning of this year I also started taking classes for the Community Place at Wooloowin. One of the classes is a "Pics in the Park" format. We walk around this gorgeous park near Toombul for a couple of hours and take photos of the variety of nature flora and fauna along the way. So this entry is a result of the three situations I find myself in.

This shot was taken at Sunrise back home the morning after a wedding. I couldn't sleep and thought i'd set the camera up for some shots.

Suburban Sunrise

I took this shot through an unfortunate dead olive plant that we'd hoped we would transplant out of the pot one day.

This is the view from the back of the restaurant up at the Maroochy River where one of my lovely couples were married.

Imagine sitting here all afternoon

On a walk on behalf of the Community place, there's always a lot to photograph, nature wise.

Brisbane Wedding Photographer | Thank You Cards

I wanted to share with you one of the products that are included in all of First Glance packages, the 3x4" Image for all of your guests that you insert in your Thank you Cards.

Yesterday I photographed Asrar & Tahira's wedding which was lovely and I will show some shots here in a couple of weeks. Anyway Asrar & Tahira wanted little tiny "Thank You" cards instead of the image as they had a lot of guests.

Thank You Cards 1

These little thank you cards were attached to a little Bomboniere casing with a little silver ribbon. Here's a couple of photos taken during the process of making the little cards... (they were sooo cute!)

Thank You Cards 2

Thank You Cards 3

So here they are all attached and I home printed the cover which simply said:

Asrar & Tahira

28-06-09

Thank You Cards 5

And I put it in a cute little box to send it to Tahira.

Thank You Cards 4

And here it is attached to the Bonboniere.

Thank you Card

How cute are they? I'm offering this service of making up little Thank You cards as an upgrade to any of the packages for an extra $100.00. Let me know when you book if you'd like to upgrade to this product!

Brisbane Wedding Photographer | Eve and David

Eve and David contacted me through the owners of the Broadway chapel to enquire as to whether I could do a small 1 hour wedding. Of course! I met up with them and their celebrant Claire at the Broadway Chapel and they had a very simple, lovely ceremony. A couple of tears fell from behind the camera that day, it was just so lovely to see this couple very much in love and committing to each other.

Congratulations Eve & David!
