Digital Assignment

Here's some of the shots I did from our first digital assignment for the year... we had to manipulate images...

Here's my: "Gee that Barista is amazing, she/he designed the story bridge into my coffee" image!

Here's my Seagull image... see my first blog entry for the original image of the Seagull. I've put the Seagull off the Astro-turf and onto more "familiar" surroundings...

And my "Jumping Damie" image. I wanted to create an advertising kind of image. I'll just note that this is in no way intended to be an actual advertising image. This image is not intended to sell cars or attract tractor hire, it is purely for my digital assignment. And besides that, my husbando looks pretty funny jumping in mid-air!

There were a couple more but I'll not put them up at this time...

Sneak Peek

My friends Darren & Megan are getting married this weekend! Woo Hoo! They have very kindly asked me to photograph their wedding! Double Woo Hoo! I've decided to hold off until the weekend to show them their engagement photos that I took with them, but I did show them this one which is one of my favourites of the shoot. More to come.... after this weekend!

Favourite pics of 2007

I thought i'd pop in my favourite pics of 2007 so you can see what I was getting up to last year! Similar to this year for college we had a major and a minor folio for our end of year assignments, however they were specifically themed and structured. I decided to theme my minor folio on a homage to Anne Geddes, and our major folio was a set of 10 different images on the different styles of photography. So that's a bit of a background for some of these images. Other images are from events during the year or from other minor assignments throughout the year.

I didn't use these ones of Luc (major folio - domestic portrait) but they were a bit of fun.

Around the house for March....

I snapped the last photos for March and clicked off Lara who "allowed" me to take photos of her over a 30 second time frame.... thanks Las! Love the cat's behind in the 3rd image!

Bogan Colour

I had my first engagement shoot on the weekend. It went very well! It's still a bit hard to tell although I think there is a bit of a cool change in the air for Autumn. Why did they call this plant the Bouganvillea? It just doesn't seem to suit it's name for some reason!
