Lara has clued onto the fact that I like to take photos... hmmm. Lara has also realised that she likes her photo taken..... aha. So every day I have had home lately she is at my side asking: "Can you take a photo of me???? Please???" I thought seeing as it was another Lasy photo day that I might as well update the old facebook photo and I also put together this little montage of Lara's funny and cute expressions... awww.

Wedding - Darren & Megan

You may remember this lovely couple Darren & Megan from their engagement photos, shown earlier in the year. Their wedding was held at the Cedar Creek Lodges in their ampitheatre and it was just lovely. Megan was escorted by her Dad along the long and winding rainforest walk to the ampitheatre setting where Darren eagerly waited. It was a great first wedding for me and I'm ever so greatful to Darren & Megan for taking a chance on me! Here's some of my favourite phots of the day...

I like Pretty Things...

Well, I can't help it! All of last year during my first year of photoimaging we were shown lots of different people's images, showing different facets of life, the good, the bad and of course the ugly and disturbing. I thought that in order to be an "outstanding" photographer you had to shoot and enjoy the more thought provoking images that aren't necessarily nice to look at. But like I said, I like pretty.

I decided at the beginning of the year not to deny it any more. And I told one of my teacher's in the first week that I like Pretty, and she basically said: "Go shoot it!"

The challenge now is to bring justice to "pretty things" to make them as pretty on camera as they are in real life and I enjoy this challenge. I don't know if I'll always feel this way (about liking pretty)! But I guess this desire to shoot pretty things is a good start in defining me towards the photographer that I want to be.

What a ramble, just so I can show you my pretty cupcakes I shot a little while ago... hmmm actually around Mother's Day because they are Mother's day cupcakes made by Gloria Jeans.

Apple Leaf

Check out this pretty little Gala Apple that I picked up from the shop! I didn't even notice at the time that it had a leaf stuck to it, it just went into the bag with all the other apples... I thought it was very sweet. It's almost like the apple has a tatoo or somethin!

Hi all! My Hubby's Mum asked for one thing for her birthday this year... photos of the Grandkiddies. So I organised with my brother in law to get some shots done with his boys and my gals and we had about 40 minutes to shoot it all in by the time we got there, got dressed and juj up hair etc...
